Hope he does not get the bad luck of years past. Go Scud!

IT IS a raging bull at the top of the time sheets following practice three for the Bathurst 12 Hour.

David Russell thrashed the #32 Lamorghini Gallardo LP 600 around the mountain early in the session, lapping the circuit in 2.04.2332.

He remained there for the rest of the session, with three separate red flags called throughout the one hour practice.

The first red flag was called when the #11 Bentley clouted the wall at the top of The Cutting.

After the British car was loaded onto a flat-bed, a second stoppage was called as Ian Sherrin had a massive moment at The Chase.

Sherrin lost control of his BMW 135i and hit the right-hand wall at high-speed kink before coming to a halt.

The final red flag occurred with just under four minutes left in the session when the #64 Motorsport Services Porsche of Tim Macrow stopped at the exit of The Dipper.

The same car lost a door earlier in the session.

I am sure the V8 drivers would rather be at Bathurst this weekend.

Wow Wow.....Fantastic result for Vicious Rumour Racing Ferrari team managed by Phil.Fantastic result Phil for car #49.from a pit row start (50th) to 6th outright one lap behind the winning factory Nissan race car after 12 hours of racing..2nd in class to the Nissan and 1st Ferrari home.

Should be so proud of the result in what is the premier race in Australia if not Asia. Against factory race teams ,large budget Euro teams with full time drivers.

Brilliant result for a part time race team....way to go.

Enjoy the moment you and your team deserve it.

Fantastic effort for the Vicious Racing Team. :like :fezz

Was intending to just watch a bit of the race in the morning but spent all day watching. Need to get back in the good books at home now.

The race was pretty amazing, really. Huge effort by everyone involved...and great to be able to watch it on 7, who purposely timed adverts to coincide with safety car sessions.....really excellent stuff.
